Server Rules and Guidelines

Our Rules

1. General Rules

1.0 Terms of Service

All players are expected to follow the Terms of Services and Community Guidelines set out by Discord.

1.1 Use Respective Channels Properly

All users are expected to use the respective public channels appropriately at all times. For example: The Media channel is exclusively for pictures, videos and other content of, or directly relating to London Metropolitan Roleplay.

1.2 Unacceptable Content

Do not post any pornography, gore, violent or otherwise NSFW content in any text chats including 18+ restricted channels. We are a SFW Discord community.

1.3 Chain of Command

Members higher up in the chain of command than you should be respected, and their instructions followed, within reason. If a member of staff makes you uncomfortable, upset or distressed they should be reported.

Each player is expected to follow the Chain of Command when contacting people. Do not message higher staff straight away. Use support channels if required.

1.4 Unnecessary User/Role Mentions

Do not ping higher staff for unnecessary reasons. Higher staff starts from upper leadership roles.

1.5 Advertising

Advertising is not tolerated in London Metropolitan Roleplay. This includes Discord channels and DMs. This will result in punishment.

1.5.1 Links

Linking to other communities not affiliated with London Metropolitan Roleplay is not tolerated.

1.6 Respect & Behaviour

All players must remain respectful. Bullying, harassment, stalking or intentional harm is not tolerated.

1.7 Discrimination

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated in London Metropolitan Roleplay.

1.8 Personal Attacks

Personal attacks or slander are not acceptable. Issues should be raised through a support ticket.

1.9 Doxxing

Doxxing will result in a permanent ban.

1.10 Impersonation

You must not impersonate any member or use roles you have not been assigned.

1.11 Scripts, Hacking & Exploits

Any form of cheating, hacking or exploiting will result in serious punishment.

1.12 Moderation & Penalties

Senior Management always has final say on punishments.

1.13 Information Sharing

Sensitive information must not be shared with unauthorised users.

1.14 Conflict of Interest

Staff members in other British roleplay communities may be restricted from holding roles in London Metropolitan Roleplay.

1.15 Attitude

All members must treat each other equally and professionally.

1.16 Staff Roles

Founder, Senior Staff, Moderators, Community and Developers are classed as staff.

2. Server Rules

2.0 Terms of Service

All players must follow the FiveM Terms of Service.

2.1 Permitted Vehicles

Officers may only use vehicles assigned to them in their garage.

2.2 Driving Standards

All officers must follow legal driving standards unless responding to emergencies.

2.3 Use of Force

Force must only be used when absolutely necessary.

2.4 Pursuits

Only trained officers may engage in pursuits.

2.5 Scene Commanding

Only trained Senior PCs or Sergeants may command scenes.

2.6 Moderating on the Server

Only moderators may moderate players.

2.7 Radio & Communication

Radio must be kept professional at all times.

2.8 Spawning Items

Spawning items maliciously will result in punishment.

2.9 Removal of Roles

We reserve the right to remove roles at any time.

3. Roleplay Rules

3.1 Acceptable Roleplay

All players must roleplay realistically and professionally.

3.2 Appropriate Roleplay

Sexual, racist or inappropriate roleplay is not tolerated.

3.3 Forced Roleplay

Do not force roleplay on other players.

3.4 Fail Roleplay

Always roleplay injuries and realistic outcomes.

3.5 Civilian Roleplay

Civilian RP is for Civ Trained members only.

Appeals Process

  1. Right to Appeal: If you believe a ban, warning, or sanction has been issued in error, you have the right to appeal the decision.
  2. How to Appeal: Submit your appeal using the Ban Appeals form on your Profile page after logging in to the website. Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the sanction being applied.
  3. What to Include: Clearly explain the situation, provide any relevant evidence, and state why you believe the action was unjustified. Remain respectful and factual in your appeal.
  4. Review Process: The appeals team will review your case, consult with relevant staff, and may request additional information if needed. You will receive a response within 7 business days.
  5. Final Decision: All appeal decisions are final. Repeated or abusive appeals may result in further action.
